Lamina has released a family of LED light engines that use super-bright LEDs and the company’s proprietary Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic on Metal (LTCC-M) technology. The initial two LED light engines feature either a 7-element LED array or 134-element LED array. Lamina integrates the LED technology, along with optional driver circuitry and optics into its LTCC-M package to create complete LED light engines, which are highly engineered LED arrays designed to provide light a specified intensity, wavelength, and viewing angle.
